Choose your own book cover/movie poster 9MY Jordan Robinson

Compare- What is the same?

Firstly, one of the similarities of the book covers is that both covers have the same creature on them, the tickle monster.

Secondly, both book covers have the dominant colour of orange in them - and a little bit of black as well.

Next, another similarity between the book covers is that the slimy monster is designed in a very simple way. It looks “childish” in a way, and only its eyes/mouth are features we can see.

Lastly, they both have the same writing on them: SCP-999 the tickle monster.

Contrast- What is different?

Firstly, one of the differences of the book covers is the colour of their background. While the first one has a completely dark/black background, the second one has a light background with stains and scratches.

Secondly, another difference is that the faces of the monsters look slightly different and they have different features. Te first book cover shows a smiling tickle monster with its eyes closed (without a mouth) and the second one a smiling tickle monster with eyes wide open and a “cute” mouth.

Next, the graphic design of the monsters is different. The first one looks like a little pudding or ghost while the second one looks like a jelly (more rectangular in shape) and it’s see-through, too.

Lastly, the first book cover has less details while the second one has more details (like the little scp logos and the “warning” sign).

Crows

Crows

Bird Brain | NOVA | PBS
Crows are a nocturnal species and belong to the bird family. They can occur in a number of colours, such as a dark navy blue, a dark shiny purple, a dark grey or black.

What personality traits do crows have? They are smart and quite social (they like to be in pairs or small family groups), they are loyal, often mate for life and they can be aggressive. Additionally,
they have a high emotional intelligence and can tell people's feelings and differentiate between good or bad situations -- this is the reason why I am so fascinated about crows. The symbolic meaning of crows is that they are believed to bring bad luck. Where do they live? They can be found everywhere in the world and can live in different environments, some are found in agricultural lands, some in urban environments. So these are examples of wild crows, but can they be held as pets? Yes, they can be tamed and it is technically possible to hold them as a pet, however, it is unfair to the animal because they love their freedom.
